Recipe with Orange-Apple Marmalade


Award local Chef Dimitris Mavrakis recommends:


5 pcs shrimp No. 1, 1 cup basmati rice, 2.5 cups water, 1 tsp. teaspoon sesame oil, 1 cup dry muscat wine, 2 tsp. tablespoons orange marmalade, lemon zest.


5 τμχ γαρίδες Νο1, 1 φλιτζάνι ρύζι μπασμάτι, 2.5 φλιτζάνια τσαγιού νερό, 1 κουτ. γλυκού σησαμέλαιο, 1 ποτήρι κρασί μοσχάτο ξηρό, 2 κουτ. σούπας μαρμελάδα πορτοκάλι, ξύσμα λεμονιού.


Peel the prawns too well and just let the kernel. Once the water boils too well pour sesame oil and rice. Reduce the heat and do not stir the rice to make holes. Close the fire and just pull all the water pour into a baking dish and spread rapidly cool to stay granular. In a pan pour olive oil let it burn well and saute for a minute our shrimp. Once we’ve put salt and pepper, add the wine and then add the orange marmalade and lemon zest, stirring constantly until sauce. We serve our rice and put the shrimp basting with the sauce.
